☆ The North Coast Stand Down is for you!
All Veterans and their families and pets are welcome at the Stand Down. Over-night housing is provided for those want to stay on-site.
Registration for the Stand Down is available beginning August 1. Veterans can register on site the Humboldt County Fairgrounds in Ferndale beginning at 8 am Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Please bring your ID. You can download our Registration form: NCSD-Veteran_Registration_Form 2024.
Transportation to and from the Stand Down is free for Veterans and their families. Stand Down Vans are Pet Friendly. This route will run every hour until noon. Return from fairgrounds starts at 3:00 pm.
Overnight Accommodations include free barrack-style housing and is available for those who want to stay at our event. There will be separate accommodations available for men, women and families.

♥ Pet Services
Pets are welcome to attend the Stand Down with their Veteran. After checking in at Veteran Registration please proceed to the Pet Services Barn to register your pet. All Veterans attending with a pet will need to abide by the following:
- All dogs need to be leashed when on the fairgrounds.
- Please pick-up all pet waste and dispose of it in an appropriate receptacle.
- If your pet is not current on rabies vaccination please let Pet Services know so appropriate safety measures can be taken.
- We encourage all owners to spay and neuter their pets. For more information, speak with Pet Services.
- If you would like to have Pet Services kennel your pet additional information will be given when arrangements are made.
