An Annual Event
North Coast Stand Down 2024 is an annual event and will occur on Sept 26-28, 2024 from 8am-4pm. Each year, with the help of non-profit organizations, businesses and individual volunteers, we are able to help Veterans in our community as well as their families by providing food, lodging and vital services in a supportive environment. As more Veterans return home, we anticipate an increase in these services.

Vital Connections
Stand Down events are successful because they bring together multiple services in one location to increase access to these benefits while reconnecting veterans with our community.

Today, more than 160 organizations across the country partner with local businesses, government agencies, faith-based service providers and community leaders to hold Stand Down events for veterans as well as their families. The critical services provided can become a catalyst for the participants that leads to a greater sense of self, improves their chance of achieving and instills higher level of stability.

Above and Beyond
There are Stand Down events around the country, but the North Coast Stand Down is in a league of its own. Our event welcomes and provides vital services to veterans of all stripes, and stands ready to serve all members and their immediate family as well. We also provide housing and veterinary care to the pets of participating veterans (although pet care services will be limited this year).
